Our Approach to Tuition and Therapy Services
Our school maintains set, published tuition rates for all students, and tuition is not adjusted based on financial need. As a nonprofit organization, all tuition and fees are reinvested directly into the mission of the school. These funds support the teachers, therapists, programs, and daily care our students receive, allowing us to provide high-quality instruction and therapeutic services in a sustainable and responsible way. No portion of tuition is distributed as profit.
We recognize that children who benefit from speech and occupational therapy often require additional services that can place a financial strain on families. To help ensure access to these essential supports, we offer need-based assistance specifically for therapy services.
Therapy Assistance Tiers
Using information provided through BENEFAQ, families who are seeking assistance for speech and occupational therapy services may qualify for one of the following therapy assistance tiers. These tiers are used solely to determine eligibility for reduced therapy fees and do not affect admission, tuition, or academic placement.
Tier 1 – Standard
Families in Tier 1 do not qualify for need-based assistance for therapy services. Therapy services are provided at the standard published rate. Even at the standard published rate, therapy services are offered at a reduced cost compared to typical industry rates as part of our nonprofit mission to reinvest all resources into the care and support of our students.
Tier 2 – Partial Mission Support
Families in Tier 2 qualify for partial mission-based assistance for therapy services. A reduced therapy rate is applied based on pre-established assistance guidelines.
Tier 3 – Significant Mission Support
Families in Tier 3 qualify for significant mission-based assistance for therapy services. A substantially reduced therapy rate is applied in accordance with established assistance guidelines.
Therapy Tuition Assistance & BENEFAQ
What Is BENEFAQ?
BENEFAQ is a confidential Benefits Eligibility Questionnaire used by our school to determine whether a family qualifies for assistance with the cost of therapy services. It helps us apply consistent, objective criteria when offering reduced rates for children who require speech or occupational therapy.
BENEFAQ does not affect school tuition, admission decisions, academic placement, or diagnosis. Its use is limited solely to therapy-related financial assistance.
How BENEFAQ Is Used
Information provided through BENEFAQ is used only to:
- Determine eligibility for reduced therapy rates
- Place families into a therapy assistance tier
- Apply pre-established assistance amounts for speech and occupational therapy services
All information is kept confidential and reviewed solely for the purpose of determining therapy assistance eligibility.
