At St. John Henry Newman Academy (SJHNA), we believe that children thrive when their educational, developmental, and therapeutic needs are supported in a unified and collaborative environment. For this reason, SJHNA partners with trusted providers within our community to offer families access to cohesive and comprehensive care directly connected to the school setting.
Through these partnerships, enrolled students may have access to a coordinated team of professionals, including:
- Speech Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- A Certified Special Education Teacher
- A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Certified Classroom Teachers and Academic Instructors
Our collaborative model allows providers and educators to work together in support of each child’s growth — academically, socially, and developmentally — helping ensure consistency between classroom expectations and therapeutic support.
These services are available to any enrolled SJHNA student, and families do not need an official medical or educational diagnosis to seek support. Many children benefit from additional guidance in areas such as communication, attention, executive functioning, motor skills, learning strategies, or social development, and early support can be valuable even when a formal diagnosis is not present.
SJHNA operates independently and does not rely on public funding. All services are provided on a private, cash-pay basis, allowing families greater flexibility, individualized care, and continuity of services without the limitations often associated with insurance or public systems.
Support services are available exclusively to students enrolled at SJHNA, whether attending full-time or part-time.
Families who may need financial assistance are welcome to apply through BENEFAQ, our tuition and service assistance program, to determine eligibility for reduced-fee services.
