St. John Henry Newman is a TEFA-approved vendor!

Homeschooling families enrolled at St. John Henry Newman Academy (SJHNA) and who qualify for the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) to receive the annual $2,000 state homeschool awards can use their funds toward our classes, tutoring sessions, and on-site therapies. Please notify Administration how you plan to use your TEFA funds before making any purchases.

Parents will log in to their Odyssey portal and access the Odyssey Marketplace to search for us under Novum Therapy Services.

To utilize TEFA funds towards your student’s class days, please select the Visual Arts class specific to your student’s grade. Purchasing one Visual Arts class covers the cost of all (or most) classes for that day.

Select one Visual Arts class per student for each day TEFA funds will be used (e.g., select 3 classes for 3 days of attendance in a week). Please buy classes weekly or monthly in advance and notify Administration. Purchases will be processed as students attend.

To use TEFA funds for therapy or tutoring, purchase the exact amount approved by Administration or agreed upon for your scheduled session.
