This provides families with a convenient way to communicate directly with Academy staff when a timely response is needed, such as changes in dismissal plans, attendance notifications, or other time-sensitive concerns.
How We Use Social Media to Help Build Community
At St. John Henry Newman Academy, we use social media as a way to build and strengthen our school community. Our social media pages are a place where families can stay informed about upcoming events, celebrate student achievements, view highlights from school activities, and share in the life of the Academy.
We encourage families to follow our social media accounts to stay connected and engaged with our community. While important school announcements will always be communicated through our official communication channels, social media provides an enjoyable way to celebrate milestones, foster fellowship, and share the many ways God is at work within SJHNA.

Security
KidCheck: SJHNA uses KidCheck to provide a secure check-in and check-out system for all students and events. The system helps us maintain accurate attendance records, verifies authorized pick-up individuals, and stores emergency contact information to enhance student safety. KidCheck provides families and staff with a simple, reliable way to ensure every child is safely accounted for throughout the day.
Ring Cameras: SJHNA uses Ring security cameras in common areas to help maintain a safe learning environment. The camera system assists with campus security, monitoring building access, and reviewing incidents when necessary, while supporting the safety of our students, staff, and visitors.
Guard: An armed security guard who regularly patrols the exterior of the campus throughout the day. The guard helps monitor the property, deter unauthorized access, and respond to potential safety concerns, providing an additional layer of security for our students, staff, and visitors.
